Maricann: CBD-Kapseln ab Februar erhältlich

Der lizenzierte Produzent aus Kanada erwartet für Februar 2018 den Vertriebsstart seiner 25mg CBD VersiSorb Kapseln in Deutschland.
Wie Maricann (CNSX: MARI) in einer Pressemeldung vom 11. Janaur bekanntgab, erwartet man die Zuteilung der Betäubungsmittel- und Großhandelslizenz in Deutschland für März 2018. Damit könnte das Unternehmen Produkte aus Kanada direkt nach Deutschland exportieren und diese an Apotheken und Vertriebshändler aus der Pharmabranche liefern.
Bereits für Februar 2018 erwartet das Unternehmen, dass die kanadische Produktionsstätte von Maricann gemäß "GMP" (good manfuacturing practice) zertifiziert wird. Anschließend dürfe man getrocknete Cannabisblüten nach Deutschland exportieren. Auch die 25mg CBD VersiSorb Kapseln sollen ab Februar in Deutschland erhältlich sein.
Bereits im vergangenen Jahr hat Maricann an dem Ausschreibungsverfahren zur Vergabe der Produktionslizenzen für Cannabis in Deutschland teilgenommen.
Die von der Regierung gestellten Anforderungen konnten erfüllt werden, und Maricann landete nach der ersten Qualifizierungsrunde unter den zehn erfolgreichsten Bewerbern.
Wie aus der aktuellen Unternehmenspräsentation hervorgeht, hat man in Ebersbach in der Nähe von Dresden bereits eine Produktionsanlage mit einer Fläche von 820.000 Quadratfuß (= rund 76.000 Quadratmeter) erworben.
In der Pressemeldung wird außerdem darüber berichtet, dass der Ausbau der Produktionsanlage in Langton, Kanada weiter voranschreitet und dass man davon ausgeht, im zweiten Quartal diesen Jahres nach einer behördlichen Inspektion mit der Pflanzung beginnen zu können. Die anfängliche Produktionskapazität wird auf 22.500 kg pro Jahr geschätzt.
Die gesamte "fully funded capacity" gibt man sogar mit 95.000 kg pro Jahr an.
"Targeted to start in 2H 2018"
Auch die Partnerschaft mit einem führenden kanadischen Apothekenbetreiber soll noch im Januar starten. Erst als Pilotprojekt, und voraussichtlich ab April 2018 dann der nationale Start. Laut eigenen Angaben kann Maricann damit kanadische Apotheken direkt mit pharmazeutischem Cannabis versorgen, und somit 25% aller Apotheken in Kanada ausstatten.

Canadian operations

- Maricann expects to receive GMP (good manufacturing practices) certification of its Canadian operations, permitting export to Germany of packaged dry cannabis flowers in February, 2018.
- The company expects to start distributing 25-milligram CBD (cannabidiol) VesiSorb capsules in February, 2018.
